The NFL lockout is over and football is back. Many people think week one of the season showed exactly what the fans feared, rusty players, injuries, and lack of effort by some teams. I believe the opposite. I thought the opening week of football was one of the best we as football fans have had in a long time, between the large amounts of rookie players making their NFL debut, to Tom Brady throwing for record setting numbers, week one was one for the books.
We all remember where we were when we heard that separate planes had hit the World Trade Center. We all remember the fear and horror that we felt when we saw both towers collapse to the ground. It's something that we will never forget; it's a permanent memory that will forever follow us. Which is exactly the reason I only drink 9/11 Memorial Commemorative Chardonnay whenever I want to drown my sorrows.
Increased enrollment obviously spawns higher demand for parking. The start of the new semester at Rio Hondo College means plenty of knowledge and success, but for most students the new semester means doubling up on five hour energy drinks just to survive parking.
Picking the number 11, the King Card, or even the color, purple, is how the professors regulate this game. During the first week of every semester, this game of luck plays out where student crashers are attempting to add a class by playing by the rules of the professors.
