To whom it may concern,I have over time, grown to become a very concerned individual in regards to the current spending of student's hard earned money. It's about time someone has decided to make his or her opinion and concerns known. Daniel's article has given me the courage to speak my mind in regards to the ASB's spending and overall service they provide to the students. I to this day still have no idea what the ASB actually does for students because I have yet to see anything relatively important being done. I see these people as individuals just looking for some good marks to place on their paperwork for the next college they are looking to attend. It isn't just the things they are not doing that I'm concerned about but the actual acts they are committing that I am concerned with. I don't think students would be too happy to know that their representatives are going on these so-called educational trips to learn about their government. Flying by plane and sleeping in great hotel rooms, partying (And I will not elaborate or go into details on that matter) on the student's money on these trips that students have paid to the school trusting that it was going to a worthy cause. They [The ASB representatives of course] should be ashamed of their irresponsible and juvenile actions. $90,000 flushed down the toilet. I do believe we are currently in an economic crisis and think they should be more RESPONSIBLE with your money. Students need to be more vocal and voice their opinions and ask questions. This is your money. Let not apathy ride your backs until you fall.
